The Lantern is free to read, and it will stay free. If it has served you, a gift helps keep it so.
Gifts are received through Ko-fi, which handles the payment on its own secure page; no card details ever pass through this site. You may give once, or set a small monthly gift, and you do not need an account here to do either.
Every gift goes to the keeping of the site — hosting, books, and the hours of reading behind each essay.

If you would like a record of your giving, open an account here with the same email address you use at Ko-fi. Each gift you make is then listed below whenever you sign in. The account holds your name, your email, and your gifts — nothing else, and it is never shared.
